Alignment Digital ( “Alignment”, "we", "us", or "our") operates the headsetapp.co website and the headset desktop software (the "Service").

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through the desktop software ("Log Data").

When you access the Service by or through the desktop software, this Log Data may include information such as the type of operating system you use.

In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service's functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

Children

Alignment Digital is not intended or designated to attract children under age of 13 without your parents or guardian’s consent or the Agreement with exception to the age restriction to each country. Our service does not address anyone out of the age scope. Particularly, we follow the age requirements of Youtube and/or Reddit.

We will not knowingly collect or process information requests from children whose age is out of the legal scope explained above. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child out of the scope without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Alignment Digital may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to the desktop software from our servers and transferred to your device. Alignment Digital uses cookies to collect information in order to improve our services for you and ensure the confidentiality of your data.

By using and visiting the headset website or the desktop software, you are consenting to the terms of this Privacy Policy and all amendments hereto. If you do not consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time, then please discontinue your use of this Service.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any disputes concerning this Privacy Policy will be governed by the laws of the British Columbia without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. The federal and provincial courts of the British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claims arising out of or related to this Privacy Policy. It is possible to export you saved data from the account management page. Download a file, containing all your data in JSON format.

Account deletion

An account can be deleted at any time from the account management page. Upon requesting to delete the account, all content will immediately become inaccessible. The content will be deleted from our servers and can no longer be recovered.

Consent

For European customers, we show a consent dialog during signup that explains our data collection practices. Therefore, our lawful basis for collecting personal data is consent.

We use cookies to securely identify your account and keep you signed in.

We use analytics services to improve the product and troubleshoot customer issues. These include Google Analytics Intercom, and Amplitude.

A customer may withdraw their consent and delete their account at any time by deleting their workspaces via our workspace settings menu.

Data Transfers

We self-certify under the E.U.-U.S. Privacy Shield and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield. These certifications help define a framework for data protection requirements when transferring personal data between the European Union and Switzerland and the United States.
